As a seasoned Encompass Admin with countless implementations completed above client expectations and over 17 years of hands-on experience, Shelby founded eBridge in 2018 with a dream for mortgage consulting to be approachable, innovative, and people-first. Shelby’s discipline and motivation to run her own company can be attributed to her time in the US Army where she served as a 91A combat medic and her desire to create a fun and encouraging environment to do serious work.

Her career in mortgage began in 2005 as a Loan Originator/Processor in both broker and retail operations. After running a self-generated pipeline closing $1M per month for a few years, she transferred into a role as an Encompass Administrator for a multi-branch company migrating from Broker to Banker platforms. In this dynamic role, she acted as the sole Admin for 150 branches, implementing Consumer Direct division from inception, assisted extensively with Compliance testing and review, all while maintaining the Help Desk online chat systems for both users and customers.

She then went on to become a Contractor in which she used all of her previous experience with Encompass and user productivity to complete a system overhaul for a 230 user company by restructuring milestones, reestablishing business rules that fit the new structure, and later providing ongoing support to ensure everyone’s success.  

During the last ten years, Shelby has focused solely on the Encompass platform namely working on implementations, growth, maintenance, reporting, vendor management, and IT management. In her last role before founding eBridge, she worked as a Senior Advisory Consultant at Ellie Mae, Inc. (now Ice Mortgage Technology™) in 2014. During her time at EllieMae, she was the Senior Team Lead and highest performer in volume each quarter receiving exemplary customer satisfaction ratings and consistently awarded Circle of Excellence for her outstanding performance within the company.

Shelby is based in eBridge’s headquarters of Charlotte, North Carolina where she enjoys taking weekend trips to the mountains and the beach.
